I saw Karen before a surgery I had on a broken nose. After our sessions, she gave me a script to read to myself in the lead up to my operation. The script involved asking my body to respond to any trauma appropriately. I read it right up to when the anaesthetist got involved! When I came round the surgeon told me that he was amazed at how little I bled. No black eyes either! I put a huge part of my very comfortable recovery down to Karen's work with me.
